    History: Link to Mozzie's history

    Personality:
Highly intelligent, paranoid, loyal. Three words to describe Mozzie, but there's so much more to him than just that.

He was born a survivor. Abandoned on the doors of an orphanage at a young age, he always found a way to ensure the system didn't get him down. The power that scamming money out of his fellow school ensured his future path, and fuelled his obsession with keeping out of the system. These days he tends to enjoy the finer things in life, but he definitely hasn't forgotten his roots - he will always help those who have helped him get established.

His paranoia about government conspiracies and finding out their secrets is a huge driving force for him. He has done everything he can over the years to ensure that there is absolutely no record of him on any system. His belief that everything at some level is a government conspiracy. As a result, there's an element of him that doesn't trust anyone fully - even his best friend Neal, to an extent. Neal's changed too much in that he's working with the FBI, and looking to do good. It goes so far against everything they'd worked towards he doesn't always understand it. To him, the dream is retiring and living the life on some tropical beach. But first - he wants to beat the system utterly. That big win that lets him see past what everyone else sees to the truth of it all.

When you begin to know him, he can be distant, calculating, but people are capable of winning his respect, and eventually his loyalty (though sometimes, that can be given grudgingly). He also wins great respect from his peers - when he was shot, and Neal put together a team to get the guy who did it, people were falling over themselves to volunteer.

He is highly intelligent, and uses that as his weapon. He is a font of quotes, and will have one for every occasion - whether appropriate or not. But there is also a huge amount of curiosity in there, about the world round about him, as well as how to obtain the next score. He sees the whole thing as solving one massive puzzle.

Mozzie is very happy to sit on the sidelines, waiting until the right moment to move. He is a great people watcher, happy to sit on a bench and watch the world go by - though if it helps proves his conspiracy theories, so much the better. He can recognize a fellow con artist easily, especially if they happen to be at work. He's also supremely happy in his own company - he doesn't need to be around people like some do, though that's not to say he doesn't enjoy the company of friends and a good glass of wine.

As for how he views his crimes, and how he will settle in Teleios - he has Neal there. That will count for a lot. Someone to bounce his theories off, someone to help him figure out what is going on. The hardest part for Mozzie will be the fact he was a plane ride away from living the dream on some secluded tropical island, but instead he's brought to what will be something close to hell for him. His crimes are a part of him, and he isn't ashamed of who he is and what he's done - he sees it as the only way he could have survived at first, then becoming the best at it. Why waste the talent when you're good?

Powers/Abilities: He's human, and normal in as far as it goes, but he's a conman, and a thief, and can break into pretty much anything you want him to.

[Leaning back, looking over the city, a glass of aged Bordeaux in one hand. Can life get any better than this? He glances at it, before taking a small sip, smiling in pleasure.]

'I love everything that is old; old friends, old manners, old books, old wine'. Oliver Goldsmith. He was right you know. First, there's nothing like a good wine. Secondly, old is best. Of course, old is even better when it is hidden away so only you can look at it, especially after you've 'appropriated' it, prior to fencing it, but I'll take this as a close second.

    Hmmmm?

Okay, if it helps us, I'll take new technology. Maybe. But only if it helps us get to Aruba.
